Cytoscape: How to start it up?ΒΆ

Question

I'd like to use Cytoscape with the Research Environment. Would this be possible?

Answer

Yes, indeed! Cytoscape is available in our Research Environment and can be used freely. To start up a session of Cytoscape, open your terminal and type the following:

/tools/apps/cytoscape/3.7.1/Cytoscape_v3.7.1/cytoscape.sh

If you require a session with more memory (up to 22GB), please use the following command to start up Cytoscape. We strongly recommend you to always use the standard session unless you run into memory issues. We have found that an increase in memory allocation is only required in a low number of cases.

/tools/apps/cytoscape/3.7.1/Cytoscape_v3.7.1/cytoscapeX25.sh
