Learning to use the TRE¶
The RE contains a huge amount of data and tools, and a huge amount of documentation to go with it, which can make it a bit daunting when you first get started.
Training¶
We regularly host live training sessions which help provide support for technical analyses within the Research Environment and can help support researchers with any level of experience.
Video and text-based tutorials are also available from our user guide pages that may help you get to grips with applications within the Research Environment. You will only be able to view videos from outside the Research Environment as there is no internal video player.
Navigating the documentation¶
You will see the documentation here organised into sections across the top of the page. On the left, you will see a menu of all the pages in this section. On the right of the page you're in, you can see and jump to the sub-sections of the page you're looking at.
We have a section of task-based documentation, which will give you links to the documentation you might want to read in order to complete particular tasks.
Keeping you up-to-date¶
You can sign up to receive service alerts about the RE here.
